Aubrey Drake Graham is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, executive producer, actor, and entrepreneur. Born to mother; Sandra “Sandi” Graham (née Sher) and father; Dennis Graham. Drake initially gained recognition when he starred in the teen drama series, Degrassi: The Next Generation. In 2006, Drake released his first mixtape, “Room for Improvement”, and left Degrassi in 2007. In the same year, he dropped his second mixtape “Comeback Season”. 

In February of 2009, he dropped his third mixtape, “So Far Gone”. In June of that same year, Drake signed with Young Money Entertainment. Currently, Drake has five studio albums: Thank Me Later (2010), Take Care (2011), Nothing Was the Same (2013), Views (2016), Scorpion (2018). And four commercial mixtapes: If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late (2015), What a Time to Be Alive(collaboration with Future), More Life (2017), and Dark Lane Demo Tapes (2020). 

As a businessman, in 2012, he founded the OVO Sound record label with longtime collaborator “40”. In 2016, Drake became the new “global ambassador” for the Toronto “Raptors”, In that same year, he became the co-founder of Virginia Black Whiskey, with American entrepreneur Brent Hocking. This development broke the sales record of whiskey in Canada.
